Antichrist, Antinature.

Have you seen the last movie from the self-proclaimed biggest director in the world, Lars Von Trier? The same director from “Dancer in the dark”, “Breaking the Waves”, “The Idiots”, “Europa” or “Dogville”. If you haven´t saw you must see, it´s not easy watch this film but it is an spectacular masterpiece.

The story is about the grieving of a couple (Charlotte Gainsbourg and Willem Dafoe), after lose their son, the plot of the film is made up of a Prologue, four chapters and an Epilogue. The four chapters are “Grief”, “Pain(Chaos Reigns)”, “Despair (Gynocide)” and “The Three Beggars”.

The film starts with the couple losing their son that falls out the window while they have sex in the other room. After the death of her son the mother is in the hospital suffering, and her husband, a therapist, brings her to home intent on treating her depression himself.
Her husband thinks the best treatment is confronting her with her fears. He dicover that her fears come from a cabin in the woods, “Éden”, where something untold happened when she stayed there last summer. They decide to stay there, and during the treatment emerged some events that explore the dark side of nature outside and within, that produces strange and terrifying acts of cruelty.

The critics had different opinions about the film, some said that was amazing, others said it was ridiculous. However Lars Von Trier was nominated to the golden palm and Charlotte Gainsbourg won the award for Best Actress in Cannes.
