Last week in my town happened an French cinema festival and I´ve been there. Initially I thought this festival probably would be boring, but this didn´t happen. The reason of this was the movie that I saw, Demain dès l’aube (Tomorrow at Dawn)from the director Denis Decourt, with brilliant actors, such as Vincent Perez, Jérémie Rénier, Aurélien Recoing, Anne Marivin, Fredericksburg TX, Françoise Lebrun, Gérald Laroche and Barbara Probst.
The principal characters are two brothers, Paul (Jérémie Rénier) and is old brother Mathieu (Vincent Perez), the story unfolds from the Paul’s passion for historical battles and encounters of faithful recreation of these battles. The phantasy starts to overcome reality in Paul´s mind and his brother is worried about it.
Mathieu will try to strip him out of this parallel world where he blends reality and fiction, to complete this mission he will need to enter in this world too.
Paul´s companions of the recreations have the same problem as him, with the efforts of is brother to take him out of this dangerous game some conflicts will emerge between them. The companions´s revenge will be crucial for the health state of their mother getting worst. With that horrible act from his companions Paul sees that he and the others are mixing reality and fiction and moves away from the games.
This kind of things are always happenning in our lives and we have to be aware for not mixing reality and fiction.
