Today I have seen a website with beautiful wall clocks. They have various kinds of clocks, but the ones that get my attention were the wall clocks, specially one with a form of a helm, interesting design.

My grandfather was a sailor and when I saw this wall clock with helm format, the first thing I have remembered was his house. The place I have played with my cousins in my childhood and where I listened the beautiful stories about sailors. I will have to show this Seth Thomas Mayflower Wall Clock to him. He will love it.

If it was placed in the same wall where he have his photographs with boats and these kind of things, that is the same place he use to tell us his stories,the wall clock will fit perfectly. The clock will record the passage of time in his life, the time that permited to him live his experinces of life, the clock is the machine that makes possible the recording of time, and it will record in my mind his image and my childhood memories.
Christmas is coming and it will be the perfect present to him. I´m already imagine his face when he open his gift and see the wall clock.
